  26. Sorry this isn't LW related, but I thought everyone would be interested.
  27. Alpha Paint does in fact work in real time directly on the Toaster frame
  28. buffer. No flashing, no periodic updates, no goofy HAM8 displays, and no
  29. stinkin render button. And all things considered, it is quite fast (and
  30. I have a slow beta version). Even with a good sized, multi-colored, edge
  31. feathered, transparent brush, Alpha Paint keeps good pace with your strokes.
  32. And it does a pretty good job of *not* squaring off the corners of your
  33. curves when you move faster than it can draw. Also, it works great with
  34. my pressure sensitive CalComp tablet.

  37. on vacation :-) It kept my accumulated messages to just under 700.
